Mobile Device Problem: Device Charger Issue
This article is to help you scan your issue and provide you with proper action to solve your problem. Based on submitted tickets, there are three most common cases that users experienced. Please scan the cases that best suit your situation and take the following steps.
***Keywords: iPhone Charger, iPad Charger, Broken Charger, Charger is not working, Phone charger issue.
Case 1: Broken Charger
- Unplug your charger immediately. You should stop using the charger for your safety.
- Send an email to support@hollyburn.com with a photo of the broken charger.
- If urgent, ask your property manager or other staff to charge your device temporarily, and make sure you contact support@hollyburn.com.
*You must make sure the charger is not running on any electricity as you cover the steps above. Please refer to IMG #1 below
Case 2: Device Port Issue – Charger does not fit in properly.
If you encounter a charging port issue that the charger is not firmly connected to the device,
- Turn off your device completely.
- Find a toothpick or Q-tip and gently clean the charging port with it. (Use an air-blower if you have)
- Try to connect the port again, if the charger still does not fit properly, please contact support@hollyburn.com with a photo of the device’s port.
*One of the most common reasons for the device not being charged is because dust, lint, or other debris has stuck in the device’s charging port, preventing the charging connections from working.

Case 3: Nothing Broken but Not Charging
- Check the power outlet you used for your charger by trying other electronic devices.
- If the power outlet works well, then turn off your device completely.
- Find a toothpick or Q-tip and gently clean the charging port with it.
- Reconnect the charger to the device, if the charger still doesn’t work, please contact support@hollyburn.com.
